EN

He was born in Moncalieri (To – Italy) in 1989. After specializing in photography and graphics, his main interest led him to focus on urban art and graffiti-writing, in particular making in many italian cities photographic reports about artistic phenomenons. This first approach leads him to work in places where actions of artists and writers are most concentrated.

In this way the “Residui” project was born, focusing on decaying structures, urban views, urban landscapes, materials and elements in continuous mutation.By exploring these places, the artist took photos to use as a basis for his works. Indeed, the photographic images are applied on supports, usually made of wood, concrete or iron, thanks to a particular image transfer technique. The photographs are then extrapolated from their original context and broken down, enriched with lines and graphic forms that create a link between the architecture and the suggestive perspectives of the places. The photographic image thus become the climax of the artist’s work, but at the same time, the flow of resilient elements lead to the continuous mutation of the urban landscape.

The project, still a work in progress, wants to be a path in which the artist will be able to dialogue with various techniques and languages to generate into people a synaesthetic perception towards the very essence of the place, in a continuous exchange between image, material and time.
